The Circle K Poland petrol stations operator engaged in cooperation with 4Mobility, a company listed on NewConnect, which was the first to introduce car sharing services in Warsaw. Circle K will make special parking spaces available at its petrol stations in Warsaw, which will increase the availability of the service within the city limits. In the first stage of cooperation the customers will be able to rent and return 4Mobility cars at 9 Circle K stations.
“Customer service is a priority for Circle K, which is why we are introducing the 4Mobility car sharing service with the needs of the users of modern services in mind. We are certain that the customers who value their time and comfort will be interested in this innovative offer, which is a convenient addition to the urban transport options. An analysis of the market trends suggests that car sharing is very quickly becoming a popular alternative to owning a car,” said Michał Ciszek, Managing Director at Circle K Poland.
Circle K Poland (Statoil Fuel & Retail Polska before 1 April 2016) has been present on the Polish market since 1992 and operates a network of around 350 petrol stations throughout Poland. The network comprises own flagship stations, economy stations and franchise stations. The initial stage of cooperation with 4Mobility will involve 9 stations located in Warsaw.
“Providing new pick-up and return locations of 4Mobility cars at Circle K petrol stations is a response to the needs of our users. We are continuing to expand our car fleet, adding new locations where our cars are available and improving our user experience in every aspect possible. Our cars are available for rental at any time, e.g. through a mobile app, which allows users to conveniently reach their destinations. Car sharing is an attractive service for office employees as well as a convenient addition to the urban transport options,” said Paweł Błaszczak, CEO of 4Mobility.
4Mobility is the only company to offer two car sharing service models: open and depot-based. The users can select the model which best meets their individual needs. The open model ensures flexibility, as users you can drive off within 15 minutes of booking a vehicle. This is the most frequently chosen solution to drive around town on short routes and is an excellent alternative for public transport, taxis or your own car. In the depot-base model the user can book a car at the selected pick-up location even 10 days in advance.
The 4Mobility base network currently consists of 50 locations, including the capital city’s most important transport nodes: 10 metro stations, the Central Railway Station, the West Railway Station and the Gdańsk Railway Station, the Chopin Airport, business centres and popular shopping centres. The cars can be conveniently returned anywhere in the Śródmieście district as well as at any 4Moblity depot. As part of its car sharing service, 4Mobility rents MINI, BMW and Hyundai cars. The users only pay for the time during which the car is used and for the travelled distance.
