XX InternationalTrade Fair PETROL STATION 2013  – summary

20th International PETROL STATION Trade Fair, organized by Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels, closed its doors. The organizers registered several thousand visitors. PETROL STATION is the oldest and the largest exhibition of the petroleum industry in Poland.

The ceremonial opening of the jubilee edition was made ​​by Halina Pupacz – President of Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels, Jacek Bąkowski– Chairman of The Material Reserves Agency  and Marek Matuszewski and Waldemar Pawlak – Members of Parliament.

The fair was attended by over 120 domestic and international exhibitors from: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Sweden, Turkey and the United States.

Both exhibitors and visitors were satisfied by the fact the event came back to Warsaw International Expocentre EXPO XXI (a year ago, due to the football championship EURO 2012, the event was held in MT Poland): a modern, spacious hall, conveniently arranged open area, easily accessible from each side of Warsaw.

Effectively designed stands attracted attention, as well as original promotional leaflets and a collection of gimmicks from exhibitors.

Exhibition part was accompanied by:

1. a series of lectures Forum for petrol stations

2. conference „Perspectives for fuel market in Poland – development or stagnation?

3. Meeting of PKN Orlen franchisees

4. Thematic panels „Petrol Station”

5. The meeting for distributors for diesel fuels intended for heating purposes                 

As usual, on PIPP stand visitors had a possibility to meet invited branch experts and members of the Board of PIPP who shared their knowledge and support with their branch colleagues.

Competitions.

The winner in GOLDEN STATION 2013 was announced during the event.

The winner was Danpol station from Złocieniec (Czaplinecka 27 str.), operating under Moya brand.

PRODUCT OF THE YEAR competition

As every year, Competition Committee, including fuel branch experts and representatives of state administration, chose the best products in PRODUCT OF THE YEAR competition and awarded the winners – the companies presenting the most innovative technical solutions on the Polish market within last 12 months – with prestigeous statuettes.

The number of participants and visitors, as well as the commitment in representation of companies prove that “Petrol Station” Fair is a popular and recognized event organized by PIPP. This year edition of the event presented the current situation of fuel branch and fuel-related sectors, latest trends and competition of companies within particular branch sectors. We believe that Your visit to the fair will result in a number of profitable business contracts, and that You will take advantage of the knowledge gained during the lectures and conferences.
