The 29th edition of the International Fair PETROL STATION is already history. Over 100 exhibitors presented their offers at this one of the largest fuel sector events in Europe, which took place on May 8-10, 2024 at EXPO XXI WARSAW. During three days, modern equipment for fuel facilities was discussed, experiences were exchanged and valuable new contacts were established.
During the opening ceremony of the 29th International Fair PETROL STATION and the ceremonial ribbon cutting, the President of the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels, Halina Pupacz, was accompanied by Minister Miłosz Motyka, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Karolina Sochańska-Domagała, acting. president of the Government Agency of Strategic Reserves, Ewa Gawryś-Osińska, chairwoman of the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization, Richard Austen, president of MOL Polska, Łukasz Porażyński executive director for retail sales at ORLEN SA, Wiesław Deć, member of the Management Board of the Chamber. The ceremony was also attended by members of the Management Board and Council of the PIPP Chamber, as well as exhibitors and invited guests.
The Fair was, of course, accompanied by the Discussion Forum conference “Polish liquid fuel market 2024. Selected issues”. During the debate, experts and specialists raised many important issues for the fuel market. They discussed, among others, energy security, the impact of sanctions packages and development plans for the fuel and energy market; about LPG gas in 2025, hydrogen technology, renewable fuels, electromobility, as well as the results of ORLEN research on gasoline intended for storage and production of E5, E10.
The conference was preceded by the presentation of the most important distinction of the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels – the GOLDEN OKTANE statuette. In 2024, the award winners were:

On the second day of the fair, there was also a meeting of the Orlen Franchise Stations Section at the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels. The meeting was led by Artur Kandarian, member of the Chamber’s Management Board and section chairman. During this time, section members raised a number of important issues regarding cooperation with the concern, and also had the opportunity to agree on their plans and strategy for the near future.
Also on the second day of the fair, during the ceremonial Gala, awards were presented in the PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2024 Competition. The awards were presented together with the President of the Chamber, Halina Pupacz, and the Chairman of the Competition Committee, Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Biernat, prof. PIMOT was presented, awards handed Adam Abramowicz, Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs.

Lectures, conferences and meetings are only part of the Fair program. The most important are the contacts that visitors can establish with exhibitors who encourage them to visit their stands – both inside and outside. Visitors also had the opportunity to talk in the Expert Zone with representatives of the Energy Regulatory Office and law firms. They could also learn more about the cars presented by our selected universities of technology.
Finally, a few words about the Hydrogen Island, which was part of the 29th International Fair PETROL STATION in Warsaw. Here, representatives of designers, suppliers and contractors of hydrogen refueling stations presented their products. Of course, a hydrogen car could not be missing at the exhibition, and this time the TOYOTA MIRAI was presented.
In fact, there was much, much more going on at the fair. First of all, numerous exhibitors from Poland and abroad presented their very rich offers. It is thanks to such great products and services that the Polish fuel and energy market can develop so dynamically, be modernized and enriched with innovative solutions.
Meanwhile, today we invite you to the anniversary edition of the exhibition – the 30th International Fair PETROL STATION 2025 will be held on May 14-16, 2025 in the EXPO XXI Warsaw hall at st. Prądzyńskiego 12/14.
