The 30th Edition of the International Fair Petrol Station – A Milestone Event in the Energy and Fuel Sector.

The 30th edition of the International Fair Petrol Station is now part of history. Held from May 14–16, 2025, at EXPO XXI Warsaw, this prestigious event—one of the largest in the fuel and energy sector in Europe—brought together nearly 100 exhibitors who showcased a wide range of products and services. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in discussions on cutting-edge equipment for fuel facilities, shared insights and best practices, and established valuable new business connections.

The opening ceremony of the 30th International Fair Petrol Station was led by Halina Pupacz, President of the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels (PIPP), joined by distinguished guests including MP Iwona Kozłowska; Jarosław Neneman, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Finance; Alvin Gajadhur, Social Advisor to the President of Poland; Michał Obiegała, President of BP Poland; Rafał Pietrasina, CEO of Anwim S.A.; Jarosław Kustra, Network Management Office Director at ORLEN S.A.; and Renata Mroczek, Vice President of the Energy Regulatory Office. The ceremony also welcomed members of the PIPP Management Board and Council, exhibitors, and invited guests.

A key part of the fair was the Discussion Forum Conference titled “The Polish Liquid Fuels Market 2025: Selected Issues.” Experts tackled a range of critical topics affecting the fuel sector, including energy transition, sustainability reporting and EU taxonomy, liquid fuels licensing, alternative fuels, hydrogen technologies, as well as Poland’s 2025 economic outlook and global industry challenges.

Prior to the panel discussion, the Chamber presented its highest honor—the Golden Octane Award (Złoty Oktan)—to outstanding individuals:

On the opening day, guests also enjoyed the “Best Barista Challenge” featuring top baristas from across Poland.


Franchise Network Events: ORLEN & MOL

On the second day, the ORLEN S.A. Franchise Station Section—operating under the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels—held a strategic meeting led by Artur Kandarian, PIPP Board Member and Section Chairman. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and aligning future strategies.

For the first time in the history of the fair, a meeting of the MOL Polska Franchise Station Section was held, hosted by Wiesław Deć, PIPP Board Member. The event fostered internal collaboration and outlined strategic goals for the network.


Product of the Year 2025 Awards Gala

The second day culminated with the Product of the Year 2025 Awards Gala. The awards were presented by PIPP President Halina Pupacz, Competition Committee Chair Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Biernat (PIMOT), and Board Members Janusz Wiśniewski and Wiesław Deć. Winners included:

As an integral part of the fair, the Entrepreneur Academy offered a full schedule of presentations and expert lectures, covering business management, finance, marketing, and legal regulations. Topics included:

Hydrogen Island – A Glimpse into the Future

A standout feature of the 30th edition was the Hydrogen Island, spotlighting innovations in hydrogen refueling stations from designers, suppliers, and contractors. Among the highlights was the presentation of the Toyota Mirai, a hydrogen-powered vehicle.


While the fair offered much more than words can capture, one thing is certain: it is the commitment of Polish and international exhibitors to innovation and quality that continues to drive the dynamic growth and modernization of the domestic fuel and energy sector.
