Product of the Year

The International PETROL STATION Fair, organized by the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels, supports entrepreneurs in maintaining a competitive market balance. This is not possible without the latest technical and technological achievements. This is what distinguishes the PRODUCT OF THE YEAR competition, which has accompanied the fair since its inception – rewarding the best solutions presented by exhibitors. The prestigious PRODUCT OF THE YEAR competition statuettes show that the products are appreciated not only by entrepreneurs, but in the future they provide significant support in the daily work of sales representatives and sales support.

Products or services related to fuel trade, transport, equipment of fuel stations and bases can be submitted to the Competition, but also those related to non-fuel commercial activities of stations, which in practice include, for example, the retail sector (i.e. a wide range of offers, including shops, catering) and the CarWash sector (offer of car washes and additional devices).

It is worth emphasizing that the PETROL STATION Fair is an important meeting of professionals. Information about the products submitted to the competition is published in the Chamber’s media, including: on the website www.targi.paliwa.pl, in the magazine “Paliwa Płynne”. It is also worth emphasizing that the stands of companies participating in the competition are specially marked during the Fair with the words: “Product submitted to the Competition” or “Competition Winner”.

The Competition Committee is composed of independent experts from the oil sector, as well as representatives of key offices for the industry.

The main evaluation criteria in the competition are: the level and modernity of the technologies used; utility and aesthetic values; originality of solutions. Due to the wide range of business interests of our entrepreneurs, resulting from the need to diversify their business activities and the constantly advancing development of modern technologies, the thematic scope is also wide, as is the selection of competition categories. However, the criteria remain unchanged: innovation and application in the economy.

A prize may be awarded in the competition in the category: INNOVATOR. The Competition Committee will award it to a product/service that has had an impact on the development of the sector.

The awards will be presented on the second day of the Fair, during a ceremonial banquet.

The winners of the PRODUCT OF THE YEAR competition are promoted in the chamber media, which primarily include the magazine “Paliwa Płynne” and the industry portal www.paliwa.pl.
